It's a place to relax and smell the roses, a place to explore the past, a place to learn, and a place to play. Includes the Pioneer Air Museum and the Tanana Valley Railroad.

dairy www.fairbanks-alaska.com/creamers-dairy Watching the birds at the 1,800-acre refuge on Creamer's Field for their annual pass through Alaska is one of Fairbanks' most popular spring and fall pastimes. Three nature trails wind through a variety of forest, shrub, muskeg and wetlands.
park www.dnr.state.ak.us/parks/units/chena/trails The Angel Rocks Trail begins at a pleasant riverside picnic area at milepost 48.9 Chena Hot Springs Road. The 3.5 mile round trip leads hikers through dense evergreen forests up to the sheer rock faces of the Angel Rocks. The trail extends 8.3 miles to include a route along ridgelines that creates a second trailhead at Chena Hot Springs Resort.
sheep The Knotty Shop - Since the opening of the Knotty Shop in 1989, it has become a popular attraction for tourists as well as local residents. Located about 32 miles south of Fairbanks.
